MSC:- Leakage and safety tests on commercial microwave ovens.

What the test involves.

• 1) Safety of the mains lead and plug.
• 2) Testing for RF (microwave) leakage.
• 3) Testing the microwave output power (cooking efficiency).
• 4) Making sure all the air vents and filters are clean.
• 5) Inspecting the internal wiring and components of the microwave oven.
• 6) Checking the door safety switches for correct operation.

All ovens which are tested will have a signed test sticker attached, which is dated, and gives the results of the test.

How much does it cost to have my ovens tested?

Costs vary on where you are located and how many ovens we will be testing.

Are test certificates provided?

We can provide a test certificate for each oven tested, however there is an additional cost of £5 per certificate.

Are service contracts available?

We do not do service contracts, however we can arrange to give you a reminder phone call annually to arrange to test your microwave ovens.

What about breakdowns between testing?

These will be treated as a normal (repair) service call, and chargeable at the appropiate rate (£44 call out + £20 labour for commercial sites)
